6 INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS

Under the conditions where controls were carried out (operating rooms at rest): raised particulate concentrations in the operating rooms OP2, OP3, OP4 and OP5 correspond to the criteria of classification of class 1000 (room of surgical operation of normal type).

Particulate concentrations raised in operating rooms OP1 correspond to the criteria of classification of classify 100 (room of surgical operation, orthopedic or cardio vascular).

Particulate concentrations raised in the room of operation OP3:

Room at rest > = 5,0 µm: 25.4 particles / cubic foot
Room at rest = 0.5 µm: 512 particles / cubic foot

Room at rest with startup of the system ions with level of the mouths of blowing:

>= 5,0 µm: 15 particles / cubic foot
<= 0.5 µm: 153 particles / cubic foot

The installation of the system " ions " show an improvement of approximately 70 % of the quality of the air for the particles of 0.5 µm

The particulate kinetics of decontamination to 0.50 µm (system " ions") corresponds to the criterion of classification CP(0.5 20.
